Dear Colleagues and friends,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Hong Kong Surgical Laser Association’s welcome to the “Let there be Light” Congress, thank you for visiting our website.

Since December 1991, the introduction of “D-LASE 300” in dentistry; it has been my pleasure to provide the most updated information regarding the applications of Lasers to our fellow colleagues. With the tremendous support from the President and executive committee of the World Federation for Laser Dentistry (WFLD, formerly ISLD), we will be hosting the first international congress under the name WFLD. We have invited internationally renowned scientists from all over the world to come and share with us their vision and passion; together we celebrate the 20th birthday of WFLD.

This is a golden opportunity to find out which laser is best suited to the needs of you and your patients. We warmly invite you to join us at the congress and welcome the participation from all dentists, researchers, dental hygienists, dental surgery assistants, dental technicians and manufacturers. I look forward to seeing you at L'hotel Nina et Convention Centre, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong, on 28th to 30th July 2008 to greet you personally.

Oral Presentation

Remarks :
1. The above time-table may be subjected to change without prior notice
2. Presenter should be registered to the Congress or the presentation will be removed from the time-table
3. 15 minutes will be allowed for each presentation ( 13 minutes presentation and 2 minutes questioning )

Poster presentation

1. Dimensions of the poster : 800mm W X 1000mm H
2. Posters should be posted onto the provided display board in the morning of 28 July 2008
3. Best poster competition: detail will be announced soon

As the announcement of abstract acceptance had been postponed for two weeks, early bird registration for those participants who have submitted their abstracts for presentation will be extended to 20th June 2008.

Abstract Acceptance

Announcements for abstract acceptance have been sent out by email. Please contact Ryan Seto via email ( ryansk@dr-seto.com ) for any enquiry. Detail arrangement and timetable for presentations will be announced and posted onto this website on or before 15th June 2008.
